colour for horses boots at shows?

Hi, bit of an odd question. I am just looking at buying some smart tendon and fetlock boots for my horse to wear at shows. The thing is I don't know what colour would be smarter! He is a mainly white colored with white legs and I don't know whether to get black to match my tack or white to match his legs! I am not sure which is smartest!

Ah, makes more sense. Are you irish by any chance? SJ classes are rarely called 'shows' over here. I had an irish acquaintance who's termanology used to confuse me!

Ditti still to match tack. Lovely soft black leather with a bit of sheepskin lining and nice shiney buckles.

Alternatively match it to your numnah, fly veil, stock and browband. Do have HAVE matching numnah etc, yes?!;) It's a legal requirement apparently, along with at least a kilo of bling.
 
No I'm from the uk haha, I've always called them shows. Didn't realise people called it something else haha! When I was in ponies I used to have matching fly veil, saddle cloth and jacket but as I have grown up a bit it looks kind of tacky to me so I either use a white or black numnah or navy saddle cloth so I suppose black would look better. I think I am getting more and more boring as I get older haha!
 
We call them shows!

And I reckon match to your tack, brown or black. If the horse has dark legs then white can be smart too... Smokes wears white but the rest wear brown.
 
My boots and legs usually are dirty, so doesn't bother me ;) But then that's white boots over socks on black legs - I don't think I'd wear them on full white legs.
