Colour of competition breeches.....

Slightly tongue in cheek, but I was reflecting today - when on earth are the relevant disciplines going to accept other colour breeches/jodhpurs than cream/beige? It is SUCH an impractical colour, it shows every mark and is a nightmare to wash - why can't I go XC in my black breeches?!!! They accept other coloured jackets now, why not breeches?

You can go XC in any colour breeches. BE rules changed last year (or year before). Not many people do as it's such a faf to change them after stressage/SJ, especially when hot and sweaty.

ETA - hmmm the BE rule book really doesn't make that clear, no wonder I missed it!

I find the beige ones ok. I've given up on the white ones. I don't know how people keep them

I opt for beige too white is just too unflattering! My OH does karate and that is waaaaay worse. Fully dressed in white in a sport where people may bleed - Come On!
