I've put my mare in foal to a hanoverian stallion and the waiting game begins with her 60days pregnant I cant help but wonder what the foal will come out looking like. The stallion is a very blingy Chestnut and mumma is a dapple grey, I will attach details on the parents colouring if that helps ? What does everyone think I will get?

Do you know the colour your mare was born? As your mare has one grey parent there is a 50/50 chance of the goal greying out. As to the other options it depends what's underneath the grey. It look to me like the stallion could be homozygous for dominant agouti so the options look to be chestnut or bay . You can use animal genetic colour coat calculator to work out the percentages.

I'm not sure what colour she was at birth but was dark when younger and is lightning up but her coat does fluctuate from dark to light quite often, she has dark thick skin if that means anything first pic she is 3yo, second is 2 days ago

Unfortunately when the greying process is that far advanced you can get a lot is dark hairs and rogue colours.
