Colour of showing tack for nearly black horse

Dolls is very nearly black, give or take. Whilst I'm planning her career (day dreaming) I'd quite like to do showing with her -not sure which class, but that's another post!!

I know the correct colour is dark brown, but is this still the case with black horses? Dark brown looks silly, whereas black suits her. -Which is correct.....can't really dye the horse!!

The picture on the left is her as a 2yr old having spent all summer in the sun getting her coat bleached. The one on the right is her current (I come in during the day) colour

Brown would be the correct colour, irrelevant of horses colour.

Have you got a bigger picture we can see, maybe able to suggest classes

A good rich dark havanna will look good on her.
Good Black tack will make her look faded
Cheaper black tack ages to a greyish tinge
