Hi

Anyone any info on doing the coloured cob class in the rds, I'm assuming you need to qualify, if so how do I find out about the qualifying classes?

And for the show itself what does it involve?

Would love to enter the rds in the future (I've a long way to go but good to have goals :))

TIA

L

as far as i know its just a pay and enter class, no qualifiers. judged on the markings and not the type. was a large class this year, with one judge, so very long. Very mixed bag, some not particularly nice coloureds in it along with some stunners. all the placers all had solid coloured heads i noticed.

Definitely NOT judged on markings, a coloured class is judged on the quality & conformation of the horse that just happens to be a coloured. Should preferably still fit a type ie. Cob/show hunter/riding horse/hack.

It is a pay and go class :)
