Coloured horses and ponies

The theme for next month's Collecting Ring photo gallery is coloured horses and ponies. If you'd like your equine partner to appear in print, please send one high-resolution image, alongside a bit of info on what makes your horse special (plus your name and address) to victoria_gray@ipcmedia.com before the 29th February.

If he/she is chosen, they'll appear in our May issue, on sale from 27th March.

Chloe nearly made it on the coloured page, as she was missed out of the bombproof feature, but her one splodge of white doesn't quite make her a coloured

Ooh Frankie's coloured but he is about 90% white and 10% black - not the best example! I might just send in some piccies anyway

What do you mean by high-resolution. I know how to put photos on computer from camera, but what would i have to do then before sending it? Sorry im not very computer literate!!

High-resolution pics are large files, at 300dpi or more. Basically, a digital camera shot should be big enough, but images from some mobile phones or those taken from websites are too tiny to print.

Action shots, headshots, whatever you like – although I may have to close the entries sooner than expected, I've been sent lots of great pics already and I don't want to start leaving people out!

And we have a different theme every month – next month its the most stunningly pretty ponies (ie must 14.3hh or under) – and the following month it's going to be ex-racehorses, so bays, chestnuts, greys etc, all welcome!
