for anyone who would lke to meet Rummy we will be with him and look forward to seeing as many as would like to meet him

Tis a bit far for me to come sadly. I'd love to see him in the flesh as I've always admired him from your pictures. Perhaps I'll see him at the races one day soon though :)

Oh Thats a shame your to far away, I am sure you will see him at the races quiet soon and Thank you I am very pleased you like him xx

Commenting because the work you've put into tirelessly promoting the coloured TB I think you deserve a huge turn out for the Middleham open day. Unfortunately a little far away for me - shame it's not the following weekend as I am going up to Scotland (hopefully) and I could tie it all in together :)

EVERYONE FROM THE NORTH PLEASE GO AND SUPPORT ANGROVE STUD'S RUMMY :) :)

We will be there very early with the syndicate members who will be seeing him for the first time since his long holiday to grow!
Aces_High Thats so kind! send me a pm when you have time and we will show you Rummy if your coming up North and we are around! always glad of reason to go and see him xx
moleskinsmum we are at Micky Hammonds Yard so on the Bus route for all the trainers as ou come in to Middleham Great to see You all !
leflynn I am sure the Pont will be sooooooo Excited to meet you !! as we will to sounds like this is going to be like a Party ! very Exciting

Holly Hocks Well thats Brilliant we will look forward to seeing you we are at Micky Hammonds Yard, I would think you would want to visit Mark Johnsons Yard the facilites are amazing we going to try and see his place! Its our first Middleham open day so I not really the best person to ask but there might be others on here who could advise I do hope so!

Hollyhocks I've been a few times and there's a lot to see! Mark Johnston's is a must and if you are lucky you will see them swimming the horses. There are lots of yards actually in the village and they range from modern and luxurious (rubber walkways, covered walkers etc) to a lovely one tucked into a courtyard just off the main square (can't remember whose it is) with old stables and a pond in the middle.
If you do get have time to get on the bus, it's worth going out to the outlying ones as you will see the gallops - James Bethell's springs to mind as one of the outlying ones.
Best tip is get there early as there is so much to see! Oh, and depending on who you are going with, steer clear from the weighing platform at Mark Johnston's unless you don't mind them all knowing your real weight!

Oow that's helpful too.

Last time we stopped up there we stopped a Richard III in Middleham, the owner if he's still there was a keen racing man and we got chatting to some of the stable lads in the pub up the road one night, telling us about an really old guy that still rode out on morning exercise, we also watched them on gallops on the moor, lovely to see, I can't wait now.

Can you recomend any good camping sites up in your area?

Kenzo My OH (all knowing ) thinks there maybe a camp site in Leyburn and possibly one at Bolton Castle we are not from Middleham so dont know the area that that well we are from Great Ayton around an hour away
hezza1 Thats so Kind thank you oh yes please join the fun!

10 campsites in the area OH has just googled so he suggested that LOL

blucanoo1990 Thats interesting who is the breeder of your horse? out of interest,
Coloured racehorse's will be quiet a crowd puller we have been blown away by the interest in Rummy, I hope he lives up to the expectation that hes bred for
