What colour do you think would look better on my tb mare as a bridle, i do not want to buy the usual black bridles as i have had them all my life even with stubben and the whitaiker bridles. I have deicded to choose between, newmarket, oxblood, burgundy, hanavna

Black would look nice on a black. I suppose it depends on the colour of your saddle. I have the Bates Caprilli brown/red, unusual colour, and I have a havana bridle, as I don`t fancy the bridle being the same colour as the saddle.

What a boring old lot you are!

Oxblood looks stunning if you horse is black with no brown points.

Remember you can also get bridles with pink, purple & blue padding etc!

How about a Kieffer Lynda bridle??

It is black with Gold piping in the browband and noseband, and the leatherwork is lovely!!
Heres a picture:

Failing that a burgundy bridle might be nice but i do have to agree that black is better on a black horse.

Ive got the Kieffer Lynda bridle with the silver piping. Although my horse is bay it really is a nice bridle, and I have to agree I would go for black on a black horse, sorry.
