Our lorry is going to be finished at the end of this month and we are currently trying to find someone to spray it (guy building it cant spray with metalic paint). Its a Man Chassis with a 16 foot body all the prep work will be done it just needs spraying, so far we have been quoted £3k! We were expecting between 1 - 2k anybody any ideas or experince with this?

Secondly we have to choose a colour and pattern with minimal masking to reduce spraying price! we were thinking of Grey/silver/dark blue or light blue (two colours) any ideas of good conbinations? Pictures of your lorries would be good! Thanks

Mine cost £2500

Thanks for that Photo lovely lorry and great idea for price, I'm guessing this price included all the prep?

Great tip for silver, I was thinking silver as doesnt show the dirt too badly, but extra bonus if it doesnt show scratches as much either!

Heres ours, it was expensive as the lorry was sprayed by some idiot that didnt know what he was doing. So they had to strip it right back, and put a poor job right.
So make sure you go to someone recomended!

Might be cheaper to have it sprayed a single colour (eg Silver) then have transfers stuck on (eg squiggles). That's what we did - ended up much cheaper than having it masked off for stripes and imo looks more 'modern'.

Silver def doesn't show the dirt as much as darker colours! Mine's now silver - used to have dark blue!
