Hi,

I bred a colt a few years back he is now a 2 year old and has only dropped one testicle from what I have researched it is unlikely he will drop it now. As anyone had experience with this before and the cost of gelding in this situation.

Cheers

Depends where the other testicle is. One of mine finally dropped his second one at two, another had a sort of extended normal castration. His was stuck further up the canal. Vet had a real struggle getting to it and the horse was badly swollen after. Another I knew of had a pea sized testicle somewhere up in his abdomen, major op to find it. He was prone to colic after that.
Can't help with costs as these were all a long time ago.
