colts losing their plumbs

sad day tomorrow colts having thier man hood taken away

just having a panic about things going wrong. anyone been through this ? any advice would be greatfully recieved. Like how long did you leave them in before turning them out....

I had my section a's bits cut off while he was in the field as he lives out 24/7.
Dont worry to much the vet knows what he/she is doing.

Must be that time of year, my colt is booked for Wednesday and my god does he need to get rid of them!

He will be fine, we have had a few done years ago who have gone away completely unscathed from it all, they recover very quickly from it, as generally it is quite a simple operation, good luck

Mine had his off 2 weeks ago, done standing... he didnt cope with the sedation too well and collasped into a heap onto the floor! Apart from that it went well (after he managed to get him on his feet again..) its healed well and no problems...so far! fingers crossed.
