As my lad has just turned 2 it would be nice to see how yours are looking and compare notes:)
This is Finn. He is Irish Draught cross and standing at 16 hands as of last week. Good with farrier and vet. Seen traffic a few times. Other than that he is just out growing up with his little herd.

Fatponee, he's lovely. Very smart. FulshawGirl, he looks gorgeous. What breed is he? He looks welsh. I have no idea how Finn has grown so evenly and looks so mature. All he has is hay and grass in winter and grass in summer.

Any excuse for piccies!

Here is Mr Ben, he will be 2 on 4th June. We have been doing lots of work on simple things, having a bridle on, rugging, tying up for long periods, he's perfect with feet farrier and vet and we do about 3 45 min walks out a week down the roads as part of our 'bombproofing' mission XD

Little Ted is 2 on June 22nd.

And Alice is 2 on Sunday. We love this picture, she had just been told off and this was her reaction - how rude !

Loves a scratch. Could there be a little giraffe or maybe moose in her ?

Oooo been waiting for a post like this to show mine off, any excuse!!

Love how different everyone's looks, really shows how differently every pony ages.

Here's my two 2 year olds.. the first is a PBA standing at around 14.1/2hh slowly greying out but looks like she is keeping her dark points and is generally a very placid little girl, super clever knows both my cars if I go down the road past the field, even when its not feeding time.

This is my WB colt, he is approx 16/.1 I think, last time I measured him he was 15.3 and he has definitely grown. He's going to futurity this year, it was dubious if he would make it as turned into a right pig a few months ago and I was very close to taking his balls off myself with a pair of secateurs!! Thankfully chilled again after a few sharp lessons in life!

Some lovely 2 year olds everyone:) AdorableAlice, how tall is Ted now? I thought Finn was big but Ted looks as if he may need oxygen soon!

Very hard to say to be honest. I did get the stick out but he was having none of it. Probably 16.1 or 2 but he has gone a strange shape again at the moment, his legs have grown but his top has not, so he resembles a pipe cleaner on stilts.

He has changed so such an extent recently, that my neighbour who drives past on his tractor every morning, asked me who my new horse is and commented how lovely the horse was.

It will be me needing oxygen if I ever get on him ! probably get nosebleed all the way up there. I am just persuading the OH to build me a new mounting block - extra big please.

Keep them coming folks! It's great seeing all these youngsters. They are all gorgeous. I think I will be joining the stepladder society in a few years when it comes to backing my lad. I'm guessing at 17.2. Any bigger and I want a refund:)

Oh okay, if I must! ;-) These were taken on 3rd March, and Leo was two on 18th April. He's about 14.3hh at the moment (measured with a spirit level over the withers, and butting it up to a lunge whip!). He's not a keeper though, much as I like him, currently on the market. Dam is Hannoverian x ISH, sire a spotted stallion, believed Knabstrupper but unregistered.

The beast turned 2 in June 2011, no actual photos from June but I have a couple of him taken that April after his first bath, he was in the middle of a growth spurt, moulting and looking like a yak:p. the others are from August so a couple of months after he officially turned two, he had been kept on a paddock paradise system that summer and has by this time moulted and his body has filled back out after his growth spurt. Anyhow pics below :)

He looks a bit rubbish at the moment due to the bad winter and his rig op back in feb. Hoping he will pick up as the grass comes :)

Sorry I cant quote on my phone.. singingdawg - he's well bred with good bloodlines in both sj and dressage, apart from the little blip a few months ago hos temperament is faultless and seems to be unflappable with everything put to him, I think his conformation is good and he has the most amazing paces.

He's going to futurity and we'll see how he does if he isn't liked then he will get the chop at 3/4yo will try and leave it long as possible tostop him getting too tall. If he isliked he will be licensed and get a ridden record before he gets advertised for any sort of stud duties.
