Well, long time no speak! I apologize profusely for my absence but we haven't really been doing anything very interesting this winter. I've moved to my new sixth form and have been totally bombarded with boring work! When I have had days off though, they have been spent hunting with the Coakham Bloodhounds- we went hunting in the hope to improve Titan's fitness and his confidence in his own ability jumping wise. He's really taken to hunting like a duck to water and we will definitely be subscribing next season! It may be too soon to speak but it's definitely paid off! :D

Here's a link to a lovely hedge picture from Sunday. :D

Today we headed up to LMEQ for a little bit of schooling. We were a photographer down and I was relying on Grandma to get some watchable footage. I'll give her credit as most of it is okay... I thought I'd share the video with everybody to see whether you can see the difference. Titan feels much more confident and is incredibly enthusiastic! :p Somehow we've been selected for the school's showjumping, eventing and dressage team so we will definitely be kept busy this year. The weekly team training has vastly improved out technique, mine in particular, it is having a massively positive impact on our partnership.

We're entered in for Aston UA on the 4th March. I must have had my brave pants on when I did the entry as we're going straight in at PN. No mucking around this year, the perseverance has paid off going by the indications Titan's been giving us so far! :D

The new fences are really nice, lots of changes around the water jump and more accuracy questions. They've also numbered out three courses in different colours... they are at Intro, Pre-Novice and Novice heights! It's incredibly useful, we schooled over the Novice course after having a play with individual fences.

Deefa- if you see us around make sure you come and say hello, love meeting HHO'ers :) Best of luck for your first intro!

Thank you for all the kind comments, they mean a lot! :)

Wow what a cracker he is! How is he bred? He looks so much fun.

He's fantastic fun when he's on side! :) He's too big to play silly beggers!

He's a Dutch Warmblood, don't really know much about his breeding to be totally honest!

Sire: Flemmingh (Holsteiner)
Dame: Gloriosa (Gelderlander)

Love him....reminds me a lot of my boy (very similar canters!). If mine had half of his boldness I'd be thrilled - he really looks like he loves his job. Also looks very straight into his fences. I would be feeling confident at PN with a horse like that!!
