I'm trying to find a comfort-type bridle for my new horse as he's got a finer head than my old mare and her FS bridle is too big (I'm guessing that although he's a fine TB I need a cob bridle).

As he's so young I want to get him comfortable from the outset, and I want one with a padded headpiece like the Elevator/Sabre Cordoba/Rhinegold Comfort sorts but they all look like they're intended for big warmbloods.

Has anyone seen something suitable anywhere?? Am rapidly losing hope...

I have the Barnsby one for my TB as I was in exactly same situation - it is really nice and suits a fine head.

My fine TB has a Gallop cheapy and it is lovely. I think he looks gorgeous in it (but then I'm biased!!!)

BArnsby or Treadstone for cheaper. Gallop are good for what you pay, but personally wouldnt want one.

I have a very fine tb who has a stubben spilt head bridle ( thing it a 1001 ) in cob size and i bought the extra sort padded headpeice. All in all it did cost 150 but it always looks amazing and cleans up so well.

I will go and see if i can find a picture of her wearing it....
