I am looking into buying a comfort double bridle.
Being ever the skinflint, I am balking at paying £200 for one but the cheaper ones don't seem very nice.

I want one with billets rather than buckles. I see some even have the sliphead going under the headpiece instead of over, so what's the point of that?

My ideal would be to be able to purchase just the headpiece but I cannot find one anywhere.

Anyone got any thoughts or recommendations?

Keiffer is nice and they do a spare parts service or the comfort bridle is called the ergonomic i think if you contact them they may be able to help you, also jeffries sell them separately i think.

Kate Negus website is awful at the moment - no pics so can't see what your getting - I was really dissapointed. I too am looking for a double, but have resigned myself to paying out. May have to buy 2 though as may be getting a new horse (fingers crossed, praying madly) so I also would like to know cheap but good ones!!!! Passier Libra is £169 (Inches) which is good value but the headpiece isn't padded - extra £30 for the padding.
