Me and Mum share our 14.2 old mare and she hasn't been riden properly for a good year so we are now bringing her back into work, because of my a-levels i haven't been going up much but i have started going back to the yard every day again. My own horse won't be able to be ridden for a good month or mroe because of her fitness level and lack of muscle in her back etc. The YO has a pony of his own which no one does anything with she is only 4 and has been backed but is bolshy and needs teaching some manners, he has said i can ride her etc. is this a good idea bringing on this horse whilst i wait to be able to ride my own again? (I have brought on and backed a youngster before)
