Walking my three terriers today, they ran up to a border and a lovely old staffie, all three are totally 100% friendly and are so small they always make new friends.

Lady asks me ' Aw they are a lovely crowd what are they??!!'

'Errr' Says I '.... terriers, mongrels.... one is part chi I think' Not a great a explanation really but they one I always come out with...

'Oh thank goodness' lady said 'I thought you were going to come out with some new hybrid ridiculous name for them, miniature-jack-doodle-dors or some what'

Made me properly laugh, and made me wonder if I had bumped into a fellow hho'er :D

Was brilliant, woman after my own heart. I am often asked 'what are they?', depending on my mood they get either just terriers, or rat-dogs or mongrels ;)

might have to come up with a designer name for them now though.....
 
:o cc I may have a type... I swear my next terrier will be a different colour but actually it will prob be another black and tan monster :D

Hahaaa, brilliant. I love that in the first pic they are sitting in size order as well :-)

I cannot stand "designer" names. I cannot stand anything about it in fact. I really hope she was a HHOer :-)
 
Perhaps we should start a HHO code... Like trying to get as many HHo buzz words into a sentence as possible, and if you think you've found one you cry "BINGO!" in response :D e.g.

A:"what a lovely crowd, what are they?"

B:"oh I dunno, something or other mongrels..."

A:"thank heavens I can't stand these designer names!"

B *hmmm is this a HHOer I see before me?*

B: "Yes quite. Why would anyone want to own a cob, I mean, designer cross breed. You'd have to be rileyboy *cough* sorry, mental! I much prefer my mongrels, they're diamonds in the rough - what do you think of their matchy matchy?! Sorry am I parelli bashing too much? What's that? No I said labradoodle bashing, honest!"

A: BINGO!
