I have a little 2 yr old welsh pony who is supposed to be a companion pony. However everyone hates him

He is a little annoying I suppose, but all the others are really mean to him

Jerry chases him and bites him and the mare kicks him. His job is to keep things company when I take others to events, but he isnt very good at this! Do you think as he gets older they will like him better, or is he just doomed to be bullied? I have been turning him out with J in an attempt to get them to become friends, but I am beginning to think it is pointless...

So what do I do with a companion that eveyone hates?!

Feel quite sorry for the little guy

Poor little man, my sec A is always at the bottom of the pile and he's the nicest lol!
Are they nasty when they are one on one?
If they are I dont know what you could do.
Give him hugs and kisses from me!

Poor pony!

It's probably his age - they're annoying and playful at that age.... I don't know what you should do really!

Sorry, no help at all !!

Know how you feel MH

I'm hoping in time it will get better - think they are bullied because they are the youngest and it's probably just a normal thing that would happen if they were in a natural herd.

it's just an age thing. I used to have a 12'2 to keep 3 17'2 company. They would chase him and bully him but to be honest he never had a mark on him. And after a few months he would use them for shelter when it rained just standing underneath the biggest. Most section A's have real attitude, a great 'I am' so they survive an even thrive on the rough an tumble. i would only worry about him if he is actually being damaged.
