I need to find a companion pony and before I advertise I thought I would ask if anyone here has such an animal that they wish to sell/rehome/loan. I am open to suggestions.
Main criteria: I need a pony that will be happy to stay in the field/stable on it's own when I go for a ride.
The pony will be kept at my home and will receive the same high standard of care that my ridden horse receives.
I prefer a smaller pony, but I don't mind if it is a mare or gelding. Unfortunately, I do not want a pony that has had laminitis. The pony will not be ridden or worked in any way, so it does not need to be perfectly sound, so long as it is field sound. It needs to be good to catch and generally polite to lead/good for the farrier etc.
I live in Surrey. Please PM if you know of anything or have anything in mind.
