Wondering what the best option for a companion pony is?
We have 2 ponies and 1 horse in our own new yard. We have horses next door - but they can go out of sight, and I am worried about if we want to to 2 of the ponies out, my horse will be 'home alone' and will get worried and upset.
Wondering whether to get a laid back companion that just stays out the whole time, so who ever is left behind always has company! Our grazing is good - so need to be careful over fatties, lami etc.
Could we go for a different type of animal such as a sheep perhaps??
