Company at local shows ?

Probably a long shot but guess its worth posting :)

I'm on a yard in South Notts. Im keen to get my two cobs out to local shows and clinics ( North Leics, Notts, Derbyshire areas) but I dnt have anyone to go with / meet up with when I'm there and I don't fancy going I completely on my lonesome.

Dnt suppose there is anyone else in a similar position who would fancy meeting u at events for a bit of mutual support and a burger? I've never done the showing thing so it's a very new to me. We are just interested in a bit of dressage, teeny jumps, in hand stuff, anything really.
 
Hi, myself and my friend keep our horses at our own rented place on the Notts/Derby Border. We don't have our own transport but hire and hack to places (we're very close to Ilkeston show) so if we're ever going to the same places we're fairly normal and friendly so come and join us! :)

I have a sneaky feeling we've exchanged emails before (waaaay back when I was being over-optimistic about a moving date from Yorkshire to Notts :) well....i'm finally here and horses too, live nearly next door to blidworth woods so we can def meet up for rides there and although my boys are not quite ready for showing yet (one's barely left the racetrack...but sensible :) and the other on slow recovery but building up after a relapsed ligament injury!) I would come along and help support/groom for you (then you can hold my hand at pleasure rides/endurance as I wouldn't have the first clue where to start and haven't ''entered'' anything since I was a brave teen!) Some weekends I work which is the only small challenge so I could probably only do them as-and-when...thought i's tell you this now before I agree then look like i'm making excuses hehe!
Anyone else a blidworth woods fan feel free to pm me and we'll try and arrange time around crazy schedules to get some rides in this summer!
 
Let me know which ones you are thinking of going to, and I will see if I can come along (with or without horses!) x
