I have a 6/7 year old 11"2 Dartmoor hill mare. I have only ever competed in a prelim before, and this was MANY years ago! I would, eventually, love to event, but Tia, has locking stifles in both her back legs (they're never very bad) she has jumped 3ft with me before, but this was in the menage with a show jump. I haven't been to many competitions before, and her to none, so I was hoping someone could give me some advice!
Especially with the cross-country, neither of us have encountered it before. I was hoping you wonderful people would have some advice for me, to get through this summer, to achieve my dream of eventing, bearing in mind our inexperience and her stifles and height (no matter how small the events, this is something I want to do!)
