I love dalmar ireland sj boots, there supposed to help the action of the back legs so you dont knock any or so many down, i think it might have actually helped abit. For XC i like prolite, but i also like the look of the dalmar ireland boots but havent yet tried them.
For xc I like prolites or dalmars for something that's very bold. My sister's pony broke a xc jump clean in half and didn't even have a mark oin his legs when wearing dalmar boots.
N.E.W lightweight competition ones are brilliant for XC. They fit my TB x really well but the hind ones aren't right for my Welsh cob.... so it does depend a bit on what type of horse your aiming for!
Fab boots though, very tough, stay totally put, wash well - still look brand new.
