I can't understand why there are so many BSJA Show Venues that do not have a website to keep riders up to date on show dates, classes etc. There are 3 that we use regularly who don't have a website & it is so frustrating to have to telephone to check on things when a website would be so much easier to access & get the information needed.

just thought i'd add, hill house has just got a website (obviously cottoning onto the idea that more publicity= more entries) it's just horseworldec.co.uk. I have a few around me wih no website, very frustrating as its not that hard for one in this day and age!!

Agreed it is very annoying, although sometimes I would prefer they have none at all than those that they do which are badly presented impossible to navigate and rarely updated. There are several for round here which are listing events last July as 'upcoming' events.

These days it is so simple to have a basic but effective website which can be updated weekly (if not daily!), and if the showcentre does it themselves they have no need to spend more than about £30 a year doing so. (I personally have 5 sites hosted for combined cost of £35 a year!)

At the end of the day if I can't find a schedule online I often won't go to an event because I won't go out of my way to pick up a paper schedule these days...

Also agree, it is crazy in this day and age! But whats probably worse than not having one is not updating it! If they cant be bothered to set one up then I cant be bothered to go to their shows!

BSJA is the worst in my area. We have a BSJA Scotland website but it rarely has stuff listed up here (more central area) when I know its on!

i find that if they dont have a website i will go somewhere else as it is so much hassle otherwise even thought usually i only get one choice!

Markfield, Field House, Gracelands, Gorse Farm.... to name just 4 which have no website.....as has been said, it costs very little to have a website & keep it up to date. It's about time that BSJA made it a condition for holding their shows?
