When it comes to competitions what is everyones FAVOURITE colour to use? Any colours you steer away from using on your horse? I love an electric blue or a navy, that would have to be my GO TO colour, i think it suits every horse!

Opinions?

My boys colour's are navy and silver, what with him being a handsome dark bay i think they rather suit him :) i would never ever wear pink! but that's just me! i think if i did change colour's i would go for black and white as that would also suit him :)

No competitions as yet, but baby pony suits blue :) If I were ever brave enough to try xc, I would go with a mix of red, blue and purple - my wargaming colours, lol!

Mine have white dressage squares and either black or white numnahs for their jumping saddles. Boots are black. I don't use colours at competitions.

For x-country I have a black baselayer with red and silver stars on the sleeves, a matching hat silk and pony has red numnah.

For SJ I wear a navy tweed jacket and use a navy/ white/ black numnah. I've never done dressage comps except at Pony Club Camp, but I'd probably use a black numnah because horsey is grey and white numnahs make her look dirty (if that makes sense!)

I Show jump BS and I have a electric blue show jacket with a light grey collar which is fairly bold so I just use a plain light grey saddle cloth.

Bet that looks lovely! Do you have any pictures?

For show jumping i have a darkish green saddle cloth with silver piping which is lovely. I wear dark grey and he has black boots. For my first time showing i had a traditional green tweed a burgundy tie and blue shirt but think a cream shirt and blue tie would look nice :) We have brown tack.

Have only ever entered Wellie in hand, so red as he is jet black! His showing bridle is black leather embroiled with red, and he looks amazing.
Charlie used to wear navy and silver, as he is bay and suited him really well :)

Yard colours at the moment - white numnah with green/purple yard logo or green numnah with purple/gold binding and yard logo.

When not competing for the yard Beau and Jerry (chestnuts) are in green, gold and cream and Timberland (bay) is in navy, gold and cream.

Mine is in black bound royal blue and grey saddle cloth and i wear a black jacket and hat. I like navy and silver on him but dont want to change my jacket for shows.
At home he wears all sorts of colours but i've noticed they are mostly black or different shades of blue or grey.

Favourite colours? Dark blue, dark grey, black and dark green. Yup - very boring ;).

Not crazy about bright orange (sorry slumdog :(), lime green, pastels, baby pink/blue, etc. Just don't think they suit my grey - and although I think white numnahs/saddlecloths look really smart, they just make my boy look dirty (even when he's not).

That said, I did just buy a set of bright red stable bandages and they look really smart with his navy poly which is trimmed with red.

Haha, I'll forgive you! The only problem with the bright orange is you have to have quite a consistent horse lol!
