Arghhhhhhhh im having a nightmare trying to buy a new competition shirt
mad.gif

I need a sleeveless, stetchy one, suitable for a long bodied person that has a zip neck, and a thing to put my stock through at the back.

Ive got a lovely horseware one but its getting a bit knackered and they dont make them anymore

So far ive sent back the Georg S one, an Ariat one and an equetech one. All have been far too big for me

and they dont come any smaller!!

Im 6ft (hence i need a long bodied one) and generally take a size 8/10top.

It MUST be a fitted and stretchy and suitable to use with a stock.

Ideas anyone???????

well im tall not as tall as you and the georg s one is a bit short on me what about your breeches are they high waisted and how many times will you ride without your jacket on? unless it is steaming hot and venue let you it doesnt always happen does it. Umm not sure where else to try then reckon you have gone through most of them.

Have you tried a made to measure one from Sporting Colours. I don't know how much they are but I get my breeches from her and they are only £98 a pair.

The sporting colours ones are fab, made to measure in whatever fabric and colour you like and in different styles, no sleeves, cap sleeves, short sleeves or long ones. I have several different ones now and they wash beautifully too.
PM me if you want their tel number.

All of mine are sporting colours and i am exactly the same size as you. i have really long arms so the full length sleeves are good but i also have half sleeves and no sleeves they also do soft cotton one although i love my silk ones in a variety of colour , i just have the white silk collar and cuffs.
They are great and Rosmary is lovely she will be more than happy to help. I went to her for the reasons you have said.

I agree with everyone else who has mentioned sporting colours.

I have just paid £40 for a new one. It has cap sleeves so I can wear it if we are allowed to go without jackets and I also have no bulk around my arms. I have also gone for one that doesn't have to be tucked in. It has a hidden zip front up to buttons on the stock collar.

As said before you can choose colour and fabric. They do take a little while to be delivered but they are made to measure. Well worth it.

I bought one from ICE, they are stretch, machine wash FAB and are short or no sleeves......see on BD web site advert for web link.....you may spend more money when you see their other items though!!!!
