Competition Venue Stabling Chrages

Am in shock at how much places charge! Having just booked stabling at 2 venues, one for £25 and one for £30. For one night!

Is this normal or have i just been terribly sheltered...

Unfortunitaly Its fairly normal the cheepest have found it £10. For a polo weekend we used to pay over £100.a few years ago.

Yup, about normal!!! Plus you have to take your own bedding and then throw away ALL of it as some will charge if you leave your shavings in, even if they are clean!! Quite tempted to bag it back up again but I have normally had enough by the end of the day!!!

This is about normal, I'm afraid.

Sometimes you can find a local farm/livery that is cheaper but then you're not on site.

Sounds about right. I usually pay £60 for a weekend

Mind you I guess this is about in line with Ponies UK, in fact probably cheaper and I used to do that every year.

I have to add that the £30 one does include Shavings.

£30 inc shavings is very good! Windsor was stupid this year £32 a night without bedding! And you had to put down a deposit in case your darling did any damage!
