My day was complete pants. Was en-route to our first BE of the season (Kirriemuir) and a tyre blew on the lorry. We had a couple of hours spare time wise (I'm always over cautious!) but the tyre guy took 2 hours to get to us instead of the promised 30 mins (he had to travel a whole 8 miles). By the time he got to us, it was too late for us to continue our journey as we still had another 2 and a half hours to drive and I would have missed my dressage (and I was second last in my section so no chance of bumping down the list).

So what a waste of a day, but at least the blow out didn't happen on the motorway. We had pulled in to get diesel when it went 'pop'. It could have been a whole lot worse.

At least you are all okay

Very annoying, i would put the tyre down to the hot weather.

Fingers x you make it safely to the next one.

Arse. Bet you were pissed off with the bloke. I've had it happen twice, and rescue have been very good getting to me, but both times was on a motorway so I think I became a priority case.

yeah guy came quick when I was with you that time but how annoying was it that you were 100yards short of free recovery at the time

When mine went on the motorway we ended up waiting nearly 4 hours

thankfully Dan was saint on 4 legs (should have told rescue people he was kicking box to shreds to make them come faster

that is rather crap, well hun, you didnt miss much. I went over to Kirriemuir for a while after my lesson and the ground was ROCK HARD. It was horrid and rather windy too. I really dont like that event. So you really did not miss much!

Yeah (see post by Nic01) - I wondered what happened to you!

How terrible.
