Luckily I'd done all my yard jobs, was just watching my instructor school her horse in the indoor when it all went pitch black! So May got an early tea and I got home at a reasonable hr to dry out and warm up!

Hope they get it sorted, there were still a few there that had'nt mucked out!

mobile phone torches is how we untacked, put tack away and turned out 8 horses onces

Not fun walking back up from fields trying to dodge the knee deep puddles of mud & water by using the shadow of the moon. This is when you realise your waterproof trousers are leaking at the knee

Lucky you'd done all your jobs. One of the pylons exploded last week near the yard but it didn't bother me that much, the moon was really bright anyway and we're used to feeding the fatties up in the field in the dark. The only another thing for me was that I couldn't make any toast

Hope they fix it soon for you.
