I met a teacher while I was on placement who has her connemara in foal to an arab and this is her first foal. And she said that she wanted to buy two New Forests to keep it company when it is born next year! I think everyone finds their first foal a bit daunting let alone three in one go! How much time? How much money? She already has a bad back and two jobs!

I could understand the reasoning of getting ONE NF to keep it company, but two?? WHY?? If she has endless time and money fair enough, but hey, there's nowt as queer as folk.....

totally understand why she needs three.....take one away the other is left on it's own....some are ok like this, some are not. Three is magic number if you have more than one and you dont want one left on its own!!

Took me a while to figure that out tho!

She doesn't have her own land though - is at livery. And I don't know if there is a hubby but I do know daughter has grown up and left home.
