I'm in the dark ages when it comes to technology and need some help - I have managed to transfer some pictures to a web group and want to share them with you all but when I click on 'properties' to get the URL address I cannot copy it on to here what am I doing wrong ? ( usually i would just click on edit and copy/paste)
can anyone help ?

What web group are you using? Most people on here tend to use photobucket, as it is relatively simple. Is there a box somewhere on your page containing code starting with

I'm using msnusers group - when I right click on the photos it will give me the url address ( under 'properties') but I can't cut and paste the url address to send it on ....does this make sense to you ( cos it'a all gobbledygook to me

!).

I'll have a go at uploading my photos' on photobucket and see if I have more success with that !

If you got it working please explain it to me! I mananged to upload my photos onto photobucket but can't for the life of me work out how to get them from there to here.

right I'll tell you how I did it - it may not be the best way but it worked for me

choose a pic from your photobucket collection and click on it - it should come up framed in red
use your edit option to 'cut' the url address on this picture
go to H&H forum and click on either reply or new topic
then click on 'image'
a box will appear with a space for the url address - click on OK
click again on image and you should get something that looks like this [image]http://[/image]
delete the http:// part and 'paste' the url address between the two image words like this ..... [image] paste url address here[/image]

hope it works !

trouble is now that I know how to do it I'm gonna bore everyone stupid with pics of my mad hairy dogs

click on the url bit not the image bit and you should be able to link direct to the pictures. When you click on the url bit it should say copied, then just paste directly to your thread.
