Hi there my 2 yo Patterdale terrier seems quite off colour at the moment, it has been a gradual decline but I had put it down to us moving house etc, however I think it is time for him to takea trip tp the vets.
Info on him - he is just over 2 yo and has been neutered vaccinations all up to date etc etc. On his last health check the vet said that he was slightly underweight so we upped his food as suggested.
Before he was neautered (about 5 months ago) he was a manic pain in the bum, but nowcertainly just lately he has become rather quiet and withdrawn.
He hasnt put on any weight to speak of and seems really dozy and sorry for himself. He is regularly wormed and all the rest of it and hasnt to my knowledge eaten anything he shouldnt as he is always supervised.
We moved house about a month ago and the nervy JRT has chilled right out but he is not his bouncy self.
I am going to take him to the vets this week and perhaps ask them to take bloods for testing.
Has anyone got any idea what could be wrong with him? His appetite is as healthy as ever and all bodily functions are normal
Hope the wee man is gonna be ok
