Due to injury I decided to retire my TB at the age of 13 a few months ago. We moved to a new yard so that I could take another horse on loan to ride and they both seem to get on really well together.
They were both out 24/7 until recently and are now in at night out in the day. My TB seems to have dramatically dropped weight in the last week or so and seems very depressed.
He has ad lib hay when in at night and a small amount when out in the day he also has a big scoop of mollichaff big scoop of speedi beet and small scoop of nuts twice a day. The other horse seems fine on this and he is in work so not really sure what to do next ??
