concerned at what it could be....

Two young ponies off the moor have been in a stable for 2 weeks now but one is showing signs of runny eyes and very loose pooh has anyone any idea what it could be. They are not ours but am concerned as they are close to ours.

it could be just a virual infection!

found out its due to the haylage they are on and not used to being stabled. phew was worrying something viral though.

Who told you that? Was it L? Did she have the vet out?...

no I saw bev and told her the symptons and she said were they being fed haylage as this can often upset ones that have come off the moors. never said haylage. also saw "L" tonight and she also said same.

so have they put him on hay then? What about the snotty eyes?..
also, its been on haylege for 2 and a half weeks...why would it suddenly start with the squits?..
