Hi all,
Recently been looking at some different show classes for my 5 uear old Highland cross Cob.
Someone has suggested I get him in a side saddle and doing Concour De'elgance with him. I however, upon research have not seen any Concour Cobs? Is this not a thing?! As I think It should be!
Would it be worth a go on my trusty steed? Or not worth it due to his cobbiness (if that is a word haha)
Not hatefull comments please- we all have our own opinions on cob types and I think they are far more suited to this job!:P

Concour is about Elegance - if your outfit is outstanding, your pony well schooled and light on his feet then there is no reason why you won't do well - ok you might not beat a pretty dainty show pony to the top spot every time but if you get it down to a T then you'll do just grand.

Thats what I was hoping- can you see my picture btw? It never shows on my phone- he is a striking colour if I say so myself;)

you can do concours aside and astride, any horse can do it whether in traditional dress (ie skirts and dresses etc) or evening wear (top hats and tails) often simplicity looks the most striking
