What shall I wear!?!?!?! I'm going to ride him astride. Was thinking may be top and tails with white jods? Or would it look better hunting gear??? Black jacket, with black beagler and beige jods???

My friend once did a class in top and tails, with black hotpants and fishnets... actually looked good but I dont have the guts nor the legs to carry it off!!

Whats the general dress for people riding astride???
 
At PUK it was like posh (well not in every case!) fancy dress - girls in big frilly dresses astride (!) with their skirts spread over their ponies' bums - insanity!!!

However there were some in their jackets and toppers so I would suggest you wear this except I'm not sure whether you need to take note of the time of day with regards what is correct... sorry not much help!
 
Hah... wow you look great!!

I'm an 8-10 and Bossy's 15.2hh! I might show my mum and see if she can fix me up something like that!! And there was me gonna go in me top and tails!!

Its for the BSPA champs in August!
 
Its just i was going to say you could borrow it for the show if you wanted but i am size 10 (jacket is 12 tho as i like room when ridng lol) and harry is 14.1 (6ft rugs) so it wont fit i dont think

The jacket it just a mitary style one from the freemans catalogue and we made the skirt from 4 metres of crushed velvet, only took a few days to make. Hat was £3 from a charity shop and scarf round it a £1 from a clothes shop
