anyone got any ideas of how much I should expect to pay to have a 36x12 foot concrete pad laid to take 3 12x12 wooden stables.

any experiences would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

hi we have just finished building our stables our concrete is about 36x36 and it cost us £1800 it was done in sections, the stables first then the stables were put up then the yard was concreted, we found the concrete was very expensive nearly as much as the stables good luck with your stables

Yep it will be about £3.5k.

It was me who said about £90 per square metre, I actually found out that we're paying £96

I've just had one built that's 28 m x 7 and it's cost well over five grand..
You can do it cheaper if you do the hardcore and labour yourself, we paid the builders and they hired a machine.
ps you need a bit in front too to step out on to...

Its the preparation on top of the concrete that costs the money.

If your site is not that level its going to cost more, as will not disposing of your own topsoil / dug out material.

I had a 42ft x 20ft pad put down recently

The area where I will put my stable block nis dead level and as I have 20 acres, its easy for me to dispose of the soil I dig out. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for your concrete pad?
