Anyone seen any progeny by him? I hear he produces rideable stock with nice temperaments. Does anyone know what his paces are like and conformation? Looking for something uphill, with good feet. Are they more pro rides or suitable for amateurs too?
Also does anyone know what his semen quality is like? I know Kerrilli on here didn't manage to get her mare in foal to him, is that common for this stallion.

Sorry for all of the questions.

Thanks

I have owned Condios for the last 16 years so I can answer your questions.

Paces: In the 70 day stallion performance test he won the dressage and was third in jumping; overall he was Vice-Champion. He tends to pass on three elastic gaits.

Conformation: He is approved by thirteen studbooks on three continents, so not only I but a many others think he has very good conformation (and athletic ability and gaits and ...)

Rideability: All else equal I believe that German genetics (Condios is a Holsteiner) produce rideability more than any other country because rideability places a very important role in the stallion approval process: Approximately 1/3 of the scores in the 70 day test in Germany is associated with rideability, trainability, etc. A German stallion that not rideable and trainable would have an almost zero chance of being approved. Condios has produced many international eventing horses and showjumpers, and two different progeny have won European Championship medals in eventing with a junior rider and a young rider. So all this should suggest that he tends to make rideable athletes.

He is very fertile. For my convenience we have done been doing only natural service with me for the last few years and the fertility has become even better. (Fifteen billion sperm is better than 350 million!)

Thanks for your reply.
Would you be able to PM me his stud fee, thanks. Will give you a call about him, if he is within my budget.

Thanks.
