Condition and turn out ?

so i have had to give up riding till i get my new hips but decided to do some in hand showing i will get someone to run her up though dont think you have to in condtion and turn out can i use an in hand bridle or should i use her normal plain caverson bridle also if in hand silly question but for condition and turn out i dont need to put her saddle on ect this is all new to me as have always done ridden classes any tips would be very useful thanks

I always use my normal bridle for in hand classes as they are always between my ridden classes. Depending on how pressed for time I am, sometimes I take off the reins and put my in hand lead and chain on for a neater appearance. We normally do the Condition and the Veteran in hand classes and no saddle is needed for in hand classes, just a naked horse!

I've always had to do a run up in Condition classes though, don't know about In hand Turnout though as we always do ridden Turnout.

I think ridden bridle is perfectly acceptable (unless you are showing at local levels). I'd say it's up to you whether you want to buy an in-hand bridle!

No saddle for in-hand classes! One less thing to clean

thank you for that apparently for showing in hand your bridle should be brown so will have to treat myself shame lol
