Condition Score Experty Types Needed!

Okay, so I admit I'm not an expert on scoring condition. I will be getting the vet to check Hippo's weight when she gets her jabs (week after next), but in the meantime I'd like some honest opinions on how she looks.

I will take some pictures of her today and post them up when I get home from yard tonight. Can people here please give me their opinions on them?

I can feel her ribs but not see them at the moment. Also, she is in her winter woolies as not clipped last year I think she has muscle on her shoulders but if I'm wrong and it's flab, then please say!

Pictures should be up by around eight this evening, and thanks in advance to anyone willing to advise. I have no problem with sarcasm - my father invented it - so fire away, as long as you are constructive and honest!

My youngster is determined to prove that the fatty shoulders than I'm rationing her for are muscle I keep on pointing out that it wobbles when I poke it and she then pins me down via a foot to prove it's solid

you will be able to do it yourself I'm sure people will happily look at photos but it is so difficult to condition score accurately from a photo or two

I will do mine tonight and get photos and we can compare notes. Although I know already that mine is around a 2.5. I'll be interested to see how many people tell me he needs more weight on

Thanks: I'm wanting second opinions other than my own in case I'm way off base with my scoring! Just passing the days until the vet checks her out for certain really...

henneke body conditioning score - i try to do it on my own but struggle to be objective! Bit like the 'I'm not fat, I'm just big boned' type thing!

Yeah, I'm not confident in my scoring skills! From what I've seen on jesstickles thread Hippo is around a 3/3.5 out of 5
