No, same owners, same feed and routines. Both reasonably unfit. I sometimes ride both, chestnut is hubby and stepson's and has a sharer, so usually I don't ride him. Both work well, the bay is more advanced in her schooling, the chestnut works more naturally. Both live off fresh air and were a lot fatter last year. They get a balancer and chaff plus hay/grass. Usually have muzzles in summer and come in during the day, but we have had sheep eat the fields down, so they have managed without muzzles so far this spring (although this could be coincidence - grass is only just through this year).
