Any suggestions for a bit more condition but absolutely no fizz for a little (15.2hh) TB? Last summer we were eventing so he was on Mollichop Showshine and D&H staypower cubes, but now we are dressaging it doesnt seem suitable to feed him that?

im currently feeding my tb (altho not overly sharp at the mo) allen n page c and c cubes, apple chaff!! seems to be working well with the grass begining to come thro!!!

Numpty question time - I got a sample of this at Badminton, the sales man said something about soaking it? How long should it be soaked for?

One of my liveries was feeding her horse C & C this winter and it put on absolutely no condition at all. The feed swells up a tremendous amount and I had to keep adding more and more water, way past what was recommended. One evening I put the water in the feed ready for the next morning to allow it to soak over night and in the morning it was a solid lump in the bucket. I added more water and it still kept soaking it up. Not sure this is best for a horses gut!!
The livery now has her horse on Bailey's N.O.1 which was recommended to us by a local stud farm who use it on all their youngsters. I have also used it on one of our own horses which we bought in Oct, lacking in condition and he looks wonderful now. I have taken my own horse off it now as it's done it's job and he's on D & H pasture mix.

I feed mine enduro 100 and alfa a to mine as a base and then he gets barley in varying amounts in relation to the work he is doing

this is mine back in march

Mine eats buildup mix, alpha a, oil (a big glug glug glug in each feed) and instant linseed.

She also had some outshine and that made her look good but its expensive. Oil is good as it is just pure calories!! I think the vet said they could have 100mls per 100kg of body weight daily!

She looks brill and went from this when I brought her
