Can anyone recommend a cool conditioning feed? J is looking quite poor at the moment.
He's 21 and a dutch WB. The last time he was weighed (12 weeks ago) he came in at 535kg.
I've got him on 16+ at the moment but it's quite high in starch (15%).
He's not in proper work at the moment - he does 40 mins walking everyday and we will be starting 5 mins trot/day in 2 weeks time.
He's currently on: (twice daily)
handfull spillers slow release comp mix
1/4 scoop 16+
1/4 scoop alfabeet
1/2 hi-fi senior
He's also getting a 1/4 scoop 16+ and 1/2 scoop hi-fi at lunchtime.
He gets 3 haylage nets (around 7kg each) and is out between 0800-1500 (grass is ok quality).
His worming is up to date (due 01/07) and he's booked to have his teeth done on Friday although he doesn't appear to have problems eating.
I'll take pictures tomorrow if I remember.
