daughter/ livery /friend etc

I'm a bad bad bad daughter, and I feel I have to confess to someone - and I can't confess to Mum, so you lot will do...

My Mum, has gone away for a week to visit my brother -- her house is nicely empty...

And I've just washed all my stirrups and bits in her dishwasher...

In my defence they are all now lovely and shiny...

COme on guys 'fess up... what bad things have you done... you'll feel a lot better once you tell me -- honestly!

LOL - I also do my bits when no one is around. Didnt think about stirrups.

My OH would never let me wash horse numnahs, fleeces etc in our washing machine so I would do it when he was out and just rinse the machine afterwards. Now that he rides too he has been given a really old twin tub machine that we use. He has never asked why I never used to wash them before lol! :)

Lol, I do wash rugs in the washing machine but really don't like the idea of getting horse poo in my dishwasher...

If you're feeling really guilty buy a tub of Finish dishwasher cleaner for a couple of pounds and put it through on a hot cycle to clean it all out.

bit tame, i was expecting a massive rave and selling all her possessions lol

we dont have a dishwasher, but everything goes through the washer (bandages, rugs, numnahs), dont even rinse it after :o upside of a horsey family i guess

I'm a less than perfect rider; I mount Horsk inside the barn, and sometimes don't make him stand :o In my defense, I do make all other horses do it 'properly' because I don't trust them as much! :D

I'm a less than perfect daughter; when the weather is yucky I make mummy feed the horses and do the morning turn out :o

I'm a less than perfect sister; when ever I watch my brother ride, all I want to do is get on and try to prove I'm better than him, even though we both know I'm not!:rolleyes:

Also, we have a livery who NEVER pulls her horses mane! it gets done once at the start of the season and that's it... when she isn't around I sometimes do it for her :o

Umm Rave -- didn't do that when I was 18 and I'm 34 now -- but I guess the fact that I used her dishwasher rather than my own makes it worse... Mum is horsey but we have an old washing machine for numnahs, summer sheets etc... (and sneak in to the laundrette with rugs)

Still what she doesn't know can't hurt her,,:D

Husband is away so the house is FULL of hoods and rugs for washing ! I've also got extra time to mess with my horses as I don't have to cook - made do with pasta last night and tonight my friend's OH is cooking!! Good times...but missing him and will be pleased when he's back, especially as he's buying tickets for YHL :D

See I can forgive you of all of those things... as long as the livery LIKES having her horses mane pulled and is just a lazy cow!!!

I'm now dishing out absolution... roll up roll up...
