Very proud sister moment at the weekend!
My little brother took his pony out for his first inhand showing show. He's quite a nervous little rider and Billy pony didn't help matters by depositing him on the floor in his lesson on the Tuesday before - to be honest I as surprised he was still willing to give it a go as took a lot of persuasion to get him back on the pony! Anyway off we went on Sunday, he was entered in 4 classes, class one didn't quite go to plan as Billy decided to misbehaved for his individual trot up and to be honest I thought that would be it confidence wise but he surprised us all - handled him like a pro and continued on to get a 6th placing. After that things just got better and better with a 2nd placing then 2 firsts! Lucky little toad came away with armfuls of rosettes, sashes and trophies! He did a super job and showed his pony off perfectly for the judge. Also got some lovely comments.
It was fantastic as it's really boosted his confidence and now he can't wait for his next lesson and has asked when we can next take him out showing. So proud of him just had to share!
