I rode Roo today, have had another loss of confidence recently :o
I decided to ride out to a long grass track for a canter, when I got there I felt ill worrying :o stupid I know, but she has one hell of a buck when she wants to
She was a little angel and I enjoyed the canter :D

Then we came across this
Untitled-7.png

It was HUGE, and in the field next to the path, so we had to get quite close to it (It looks smaller because the path is higher up) Roo was fab! she stopped and watched it (i just stroked her neck) then I asked her to walk on and she was slightly on her toes but she walked past :D

Im so lucky to have such an amazing horse

When I got back she was sweaty (we'd been an hour and a half) so I washed her down and turned her out, in the gateway there is just a dusty bit with no grass, shes now a totally different shade of bay

Couldnt help but laugh at her

All horses that are called Roo are little stars :). Complete fact .

I don't have the best confidence levels, but just pushing yourself a little step each time, and then congratulating yourself hugely each time works wonders :). Roo sounds like she's there to help you through anyway, and if not give you plenty of work getting her clean again lol :) x
