Well here goes , got the 4x4 , borrowing a trailer and we are off on our first trip tomorrow night, nice and simple just popping to take daughter to showjumping clinic 15 miles away, did practise at weekend with no pony in and all went very well , Big glass of wine tomorrow night when we get back , never in a million years did i think it would be possible after the year we had last year ! , wish us look guys ..

You will be fine! Take it nice and slowly and don't feel pressured by other drivers. You can have another glass on your safe return home!

I'm sure you will be fine, but I can remember how daunting I found it when I first started towing. I chainsmoked and the kids got their heads bitten off if they dared to say anything. It's all a lot more chilled 6 years on (and I've finally given up smoking too).

Good luck with it and may you not have to do too much reversing...

Good Luck, I am in the same situation, got a trailer and have been out on my own now just gotta take my horse in it! eek! I keep him on a single track lane used as a cut through for speeding drivers, arctic lorries sneak through (although not allowed) and huge tractors, i am dreading meeting them in the lane!

I'm sure you will be fine. Iv'e recently bought a small lorry and had a bad attack of the jitters first time out. One you get going its fine. It was the thought of it that worse. Have a nice trip.
