I have never done one of these and just wondered if anyone could point out my horse conformation flaws and benefits (if any) as i would be interested to see what gets picked out after a recent conversation!Would love to hear any comments-good or bad!

Thanks Guys!

Yeah he's in his teens..honestly i would love to know what everyone thinks-any technical stuff would be good-and please be as harsh as you want-ive had him for years so im not bothered by bad things-i would just genuinely love to know as ive been looking at his old showing stuff and would be interested to hear what you think-he's 15.1hh by the way!

He looks to have an honest eye and a good overall shape to him, and his bone is proportional to his build, although his legs are a bit 'common' (lots of har, rounded joints etc)

He's a little bit straight through the shoulder, which could make his stride a bit choppy. But his neck still gives him a good length of rein. In the first photo especially he looks to have a straight hindleg, but less so in the third photo. He's lovely and deep through, but as HH says, a bit dippy backed, which is probably due to his age, and his tail is set a bit low if you were going to be really picky.

I think he'd look lovely hogged!!

He's been hogged most of the years ive had him-we did ALOT of showing! However when he did his suspensory in summer i thought id let it grow back as i thought he would be out of action for a while and would spend some time turned away! The shot of him in the summer is the growing out phase (its now in his scruffy phase lol). He's always had a slightly dippy back and saddlers cant believe he has such a high wither when i mention the word cob!
Thanks for the comments!

He has a nice short back and reasonable quarters , his shoulder is a little straight but for his type this wouldnt be a problem for me at all. His back is a little dipped (im sure its hard to get a saddle to fit well) but he looks like he'd be a comfy ride with nice short bouncy strides. I guessing he has a great jump?
You talk about showing - he looks like he'd make a nice working hunter.
