My little mare has had a lot of issues over the winter and was very very poorley, she has been back in work for two months now, how is she looking so far?
Thanks 'Shysmum'! She was set to be put down after being diagnosed with rectal muscle failure (she physically could not push any poop out, it all built up and leaked into places it shouldn't have and was slowly poisoning her), a heart problem, blood virus and a horiffic case of colic!!!! Amazingly she made a VERY fast recovery! Although it was a very hard and scary time!
And here we are two months later, took these photos today when we hired out a big course and did some jumping.
For a conformation analysis you really need to see the horse ideally with no tack on and definatly no boots.
She looks a kind mare, obviously needs condition and probably with that condition will be a totally different horse. she is very straight at the shoulder but that shows up more due to the lack of condition and muscle in the neck. You have obviously been through a tough time with her, fingers crossed that is all behind you know and she will blossom into the striking animal that I expect she will turn into.
