What do you think of this 2yr old filly? Connie x TB. Standing at 14.1, sire was 14.2 and mother is 16.1 so I’d be happy with about 15hh anything more is a bonus.

There’s some grazing and a stable now free at my yard and this beauty was advertised yesterday. Luckily I’ve been told I can keep her on my OHs family farm if I don’t want her on a livery yard yet, a good option for winter.

I like her a lot. No glaring conformation faults that I can see and looks a nice person too. In the lap of the gods as to final height, as I always used to tell people buying one of my youngsters, all I can do is guarantee they won't get smaller. Dad looks a really nice sort. If the price is right I would buy, you will have fun with her growing up. Something to focus on in these difficult times.

This. There are some little niggles but overall she is very nice and will mature into a really nice sort. If she doesn't make the height back her and educate her a little bit and she will sell on easily enough

Very nice. Good limbs and hip/shoulder angles, and also not pig fat, which is excellent at this age (and unusual these days) . Her neck tends towards the TB side, set a trifle low and could be longer, but perhaps not too troubling for the job you have in mind. Sizewise, I'd say you have scope for some growth, but you can always string test to see what's likely.

Thanks all for your thoughts, much appreciated.

I did proceed to buy, got transport ready and everything my side but doesn't seem it was mean't to be.

Hopefully something else will come up, feeling a bit gutted.

After a unsuccessful first find.
This 15.1 4yr old warmblood I've found advertised.
Think the photos may be old so have asked for recent. Any thoughts?

Would a gelding do? This chap is performance bred and although the photos are terrible for assessing conformation, I would enquire further if I was looking. He's by a really good stallion with a great 'can do' attitude that is a premium AHS stallion, is performance tested (NaStA grade 1) and won the WAHO trophy.

I am so sad he’s a boy ?, or I’d have sent an enquiry too!

More than happy for a gelding but Arabs really aren’t my thing. Thank you though! He looks a lovely type, a bit out of budget though.

Ref #: 221390 Horse Quest all rounders youngstock

A cheeky offer might be accepted if they want rid of him. Don't forget to factor in cost of cutting him.

Thanks AA, he’s lovely. I’ll put a offer in but my budget is about £2000 max :(

Oh I bleddy love that stallion, he's such a handy sort!

I'm going to be the odd one out here, I didn't like the first one! Hind legs didn't have a good enough angle and I think there is potential for weakness there and future issues. Unless the horse is just being stood up really badly for the photo, but I really can't see past those straight legs.
Coloured one has poor hocks too.
